Admittedly one of the more uninspiring photographs on the Dynamo blog, but it does show that the Millennium Bridge and path to Morecambe were gritted during the recent very cold spell (this photograph was taken on 5 February). However, it also highlights the limitations of the City Council’s habit of waiting for prolonged periods of sub-zero temperatures: in this case, the weather was very dry as well as very cold, so there was little risk or ice or frost.
