Gritting is the business on shared-use paths

Lancaster City Council has done a good job in the last few days of gritting the shared-use paths from Morecambe to Lancaster and from Lancaster to Halton.

Clean-up of shared-use paths

Lancaster City Council have recently cleaned and restored the widths of the shared-use paths which they maintain. Unfortunately – from a cycling and walking perspective – the canal towpath doesn’t come under their umbrella!
