Kendal to Lancaster Towpath Trail survey

Lancaster Canal Regeneration Partnership is currently conducting a trail survey with the aim of providing continuous improved towpath access from Kendal to Lancaster.  You can complete the survey at

    My cycle bias opinions added 🙂
    We may complain in Lancaster but kendal really does badly need extended traffic free infrastructure and I would love to be able to get there on a decently surfaced towpath

    The last bit coming in from Natland towards the leisure centre is surfaced, but runs through a wooded strip of land, and is normally covered with leaves, so the road is better. Its not just about the surface but maintenance.
