Dynamo’s new campaign: Black Spots and Close Shaves

Dynamo is launching a new campaign for spring 2016: we want cyclists to report crashes, incidents and potholes to the relevant people. If you can, also let Dynamo know so that we are aware of other cyclists’ experiences when making the case for better facilities and infrastructure.

The impetus came from looking at the University of Westminster’s Near Miss 2014 project. It makes for interesting and rather chilling reading.

Download our flyer here and spread the word.

You have a lot. I just put in a complaint to Stagecoach after being carved up on the A6

    • Let us know if you get any response from Stagecoach.

So I have been waiting for a decent response from stagecoach but this is all I got. After nearly been driven of the road by someone this is all you get, Just shows how little they care, this is clearly a standard letter and it disgusts me really! :

I was most concerned to read your email regarding an incident with one our buses on 14th March 2016 at 09:13.

Please be assured that all of our drivers receive extensive training that includes cycle awareness therefore there is no excuse for this type of driving. The driver have been identified and I will be having one of my driving instructors assess this driver’s driving and if it does not meet our standards then he will be taken off the road for further training.

Please accept my sincere apologies for this driver’s driving that you experienced. May I also take this opportunity in thanking you for bringing this matter to my attention which undoubtedly assists us in our ability to monitor any potential and internal difficulties in service delivery.

Please find attached a copy of ‘Our Commitment to You’.

        Yours sincerely
