Funds for bridge work on shared-use paths

Good news that Lancashire County Council has put funds aside to maintain some of the bridges which are an essential feature of our district’s shared-use paths.  (Anyone remember the long closure of the Crook o’Lune bridge a few years back?)

The bridge at Condor Green will get the works in the 2015/16 financial year.

(One interesting insight from the list of bridges to receive maintenance work is that 4 out of 5 are in the Lancaster district.  Cyclists in other parts of the county might feel that it proves that Lancaster has the best infrastructure.  Great for us, but probably somewhat annoying for them!)
