Toucan crossing on North Road, Lancaster?

At its 7 April meeting the Planning & Highways Regulatory Committee of Lancaster City Council approved an application for student flats on North Road.  Included in the officer’s report (paragraph 8, page 33) was the following:

  • “As outlined earlier in the report the application will need to be subject of the provision of a financial contribution to aid the provision of a Toucan crossing close to the site, improving links to the bus station.”

It seems from the minutes (see the City Council’s website) that this was approved.  So shall we have a toucan crossing at North Road one of these days?
