Lancaster Guardian article on cyclist injuries

This week’s Lancaster Guardian has an article about serious injuries to cyclists, using information obtained by the Guardian from a Freedom of Information request to the local police.  There has been an increase in serious cycling injuries recently, and the article identifies (perhaps not surprisingly) parts of the A6 and Chapel Street as accident hotspots.  Dynamo is calling on the local authority to increase cyclists’ safety by providing direct segregated routes where possible, and safe shared use of the roads where there is no option.
