Are You 65 or Over?
Lancashire County Council Sustainable Travel Team are offering free cycle training for residents of Lancashire aged 65+.
Why not brush up on your cycling skills or do you know someone who would like to take part? There is no need to be shy as tuition is on a one to one basis and tailored to the individuals needs. Places are limited so get in first.

Cycle Access to Lancaster City Centre Improved
Cycle access into Lancaster City centre is being improved with the introduction of a new cycle crossings across the city’s busy one way system and new contra flow cycle lanes on side streets. You can now cycle in pedestrian section of Church Street. It is hoped to improve cycle access to other town centres in the county in the future.
Are you a keen cyclist who would like to be a member of a forum or even set up a forum in your district well help is at hand. There are cycle forums at a county level and in Preston, Pendle and West Lancashire. We are keen to attract new members to these groups including women and people who work during the day.
