Forestry sell-off: The possible effects on MTB access

I have just received the following email in my inbox about the possible knock-on effects of the planned forestry sale:

OK, much as I hate broadcast emails I am going to add to your in-box. Just in case you were ignoring the government’s plans to sell the forests off, bear in mind that it will be the end of mountain biking and walking being openly accessible and possibly some climbing as well. The first thing any private owner will do is start ticketing anything that could be lucrative.

 

I have lodged a general complaint at the Consultation site below. It is still in a “Consultation” phase so you may want to spend 30 seconds and do the same. When its gone, its gone. Just a thought….
