New cycle signage

New cycle signs have recently popped up in central Lancaster to key destinations (e.g. railway station).  Has anyone noticed others elsewhere in the district?  These were funded under the Department for Transport Cycle Safety Fund and are designed to publicise quieter cycle routes.

Here’s one:

I was a bit sceptical about these, but then found them very useful when I recently found myself approaching the city on the canal and wanting to cut through on roads I’ve never used…modest improvements perhaps, but good stuff nonetheless. Hopefully things will also now be clearer for visitors to the city on bikes….

Yes, I know what you mean by “sceptical”! But they are exactly the kind of signs that I rely on to cycle around towns and cities when I’m on holiday in places I don’t know, so I think they’re good.
